Energy Efficiency Directive: industry has the greatest benefits in Romania

In summer 2014 Romania transposed the European Energy Efficiency Directive 27/2012. This is an important step forward for Romanian industry, which will become more efficient from an energy standpoint, thanks to technologies such as natural gas- and biogas-fired cogeneration. The president of ARPEE, the Romanian Association for the Promotion of Energy Efficiency, outlines some established best practices in Romania.
