Sheridan College: a zero-impact campus in Canada
Industry and tertiary sector
Sheridan College, in Ontario, has an ambitious project: to minimise waste production by 2020. The zero waste campaign has been launched at the Trafalgar Campus with excellent results. The campus is also running other projects, including works to create a district heating and cooling plant for an efficient use of fuel for heating and electricity and considerable cost savings. All environmentally-friendly initiatives of Sheridan College are part of its Integrated Energy and Climate Master Plan.
