London: new heat networks to reach energy efficiency targets

London’s target for 2025 is to satisfy 25% of its energy demand through on site energy production, as well as a 60% reduction in CO2. The Greater London Authority is working towards this by developing new heat networks, considering that around 50% of energy requirements are for heat.
