The Netherlands: Energy Agreement to reach 14% of production from renewable energy by 2020

Currently in the Netherlands only 6% of the energy produced comes from renewable sources as compared to a target of 14% set for 2020. That's why the "Dutch Energy Agreement" was promoted, i.e. an agreement between the Dutch Government and some parts of the industry that seek to invest in renewable resources in order to complete the energy transition already underway in other European countries.
