A Mexican dairy products producer believes in CHP: the case of Grupo Cuadritos
Industry and tertiary sector
Grupo Cuadritos, a Mexican company producing and marketing dairy products, can guarantee the supply of around 400 types of products to the market thanks to cogeneration. The company is located in an agricultural area with a low quality of electricity supplied by the grid, hampering the efficient operation of the company’s machinery. The installation of two cogeneration plants has enabled it to ensure a constant supply of energy for its production processes, an excellent return on investment and a reduction in CO2 emissions.
