Cogeneration: essential for the European paper industry, but EU support needed

Speaking to us, the Climate Change & Energy Director of the Confederation of European Paper Industries affirms that cogeneration is the most widely used technology in the sector. In fact, 96% of the energy used in the production process is produced by a cogeneration plant. But what can the European Union do to help the paper industry towards an energy transition?
