Cogeneration plants in greenhouses. What aspects should be taken into account?

Kurt Parbst - Director of Business Development, Grow Energy

How does a cogeneration plant behave in a classic greenhouse vs. in an “in building” greenhouse? The system works more or less the same, but it is the amount of light which varies from the first to the second case and therefore changes the amount of energy needed, produced by the plant. In fact, an “in building” greenhouse is more energy-intensive as it requires artificial light and greater humidity control. These are all the aspects to be taken into account when installing a cogeneration plant in a greenhouse.
