Energy efficiency and cogeneration

A feasibility study, many variables to take into account

Edgar Alonso Moratilla Velasco - CHP Specialist, AB Energy Mexico

When preparing a feasibility study for a cogeneration plant, it is important to take into account not only the electric and thermal consumption, but also a broader series of variables that include the space available for installing the system, the availability of gas from the grid, the place where the building that houses the facility is located, the price of electricity and gas and many others. All these aspects are important and the feasibility of the project is highly dependent on them.
