Methane gas in Spain: an 80,000 km distribution network

With a gas transmission network of nearly 12,000 km and a distribution network of nearly 80,000 km in Spain, the availability of natural gas can reach twice the average domestic demand. For this reason, energy production from cogeneration will be able to grow in the future, even if the general trend will likely move towards biofuels such as biomethane or hydrogen.
