The BOT approach for cogeneration plants
Technologies and components
The Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) approach can be applied to the world of cogeneration when companies interested in this technology do not have the capacity or the tools necessary to take care of the project from the beginning to the end. Indeed, though this type of approach, the bodies or companies involved take responsibility for the investment, design, construction and maintenance of the cogeneration plant, transferring the electricity produced by the plant to the client company for a fee. In this way the client does not have to worry about following the procedure to install the plant, but can take advantage of the relative benefits.
